She is an artscience Venice-based curator with a scientific background (oceanography) and a science communication master’s degree. Erica combines her expertise in art and science to involve and inspire younger generations in addressing contemporary environmental challenges. She is dedicated to fostering collaborations between artists and scientists, aiming to merge scientific inquiry with creative expression at the intersection of these fields, ultimately striving to generate meaningful impact.
Pasquale Del Gaudio

He is a Salerno-based academic with a rich background in chemistry and pharmaceutical technology. As a full professor at the University of Salerno, Pasquale is deeply involved in fostering a culture of innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration. His passion for science communication is also reflected in his work, where he seeks integration of scientific research with practical applications, making complex scientific concepts accessible and engaging to a broader audience.
Michael Tytgat

With a PhD in Experimental Particle Physics obtained in 2001, Michael is currently appointed as a physics professor at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. He is an experienced contributor in European particle accelerator experiments with his main project currently being the CMS experiment at the CERN LHC. His work probes for physics beyond the Standard Model and develops instruments for high-energy and interdisciplinary science. He relishes merging art and science to make physics accessible to all.
Kourti Naouma
ArtScientist
She is a remarkable force at the intersection of science, art, and societal impact. After completing her engineering studies, Kourti centered around nuclear safety research using remote sensing technology that was then at the base the European Network for Critical Infrastructure Protection. Now in JRC’s SciArt project, Kourti connects female scientists with the public through her books, the theater play “Feeling Science” and authoring thought-provoking articles in journals and Youtube series.
Todd Siler
ArtScientist – “Cerebralist”
He is an American multimedia artist, author, educator, and inventor, renowned for his contributions to both the arts and creativity research. With a PhD from MIT in interdisciplinary studies, Todd has been a pioneer in the integration of arts and sciences. His work delves into the neurological and cellular levels of creativity, and his artworks have been featured in Guggenheim Museum and The Metropolitan Museum of Art. He is committed to bridging the gap between subjective art and objective science, fostering a deeper, more imaginative engagement with the world around us.
